Established in May 2006, Amathuba has now
built five houses
for families living in the worst conditions in Embo.
Thanks to willing hands of community members, who clear the ground, dig foundations, mix cement and carry bricks up steep hillsides, these houses have been completed at an average cost of just R40 000.
Goodness Mlambo, Constance
Ngcobo and Ma Khumalo – along
with Amathuba project co-ordinator Robert
Zuma and our latest family, Mr &
Mrs Mkhize – are
the lucky ones.
But there are many more still in dire need. Please read
their stories and if you can find it in your heart to help, please
consider making an online gift right now.
