Fundraise for us

When Jolene and Marco Bertoldi decided to climb Kilimanjaro, they decided to use the opportunity to raise funds for Amathuba, though an online fundraising website called Doit4Charity.

Using this site, anyone, anywhere in the world can raise funds for Amathuba by participating in a marathon or other sporting event and getting family, friends and business colleagues to support them. You do not have to be South African ... you just need a passion for the work we do!

The Cape couple chose Amathuba because: 'Personally, we find it astounding and shameful that in our modern times, people still live in shacks without basic facilities such as clean running water, electricity or sufficient shelter.'

'It is relatively easy for us to make a big difference in the lives of others,' said Jolene.
